The EIW has produced four booklets, drawing together the findings of all ten partner countries' National Reports, to provide a trans-national analysis of the intercultural workplace in various sectors across Europe.
The first three booklets are sector-specific trans-national analyses of workplace issues identified across the partnership countries, illustrated with concrete examples from case studies. The sectors covered are Healthcare, Education and SMEs. The fourth booklet, an Overview of Legislation, is intended to be used in conjunction with each of the other three. This booklet includes a brief discussion of immigration issues identified by the partnership as affecting the intercultural workplace across Europe, and a review of the relevant legislation in each of the partner countries.
A key aim of these sector-specific booklets is to facilitate international comparison, evaluation and cross-fertilisation of good practice across partner countries. Given the high mobility of today's workforce, the sector-specific booklets are designed to be of practical value to workers who wish to move within a given sector between partner countries. They are also intended to constitute an invaluable resource of trans-national information for international consultants, policy makers and other interested parties.
These reports were finalised in mid-2007. Some of them may have been updated since then. Please check with the partner in your area.
